The Ruckus + Chopperhead

Get ready to rock 'n' roll, because The Ruckus is here to bring the noise! The group is a guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll band hailing from Aberdeen so if you're ready to rock out with your socks out, look no further than The Ruckus! Support from local legends Chopperhead!

Hailing from Aberdeen, this five-piece classic rock band formed in 2006 when childhood buds Chris "Duda" Walker and Phil Shearer convinced their mate Ian Pirie to pick up the bass. With guitarist Bob Christie and drummer Dave Leslie completing the line-up after a dramatic split from their previous band, The Ruckus started off by covering their favourite tunes from rock legends like AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, The Rolling Stones, and of course, the Foo Fighters (because who doesn't love a good "Pretender" jam session?).

After racking up some serious stage time, The Ruckus decided it was time to write their own tunes. And when Chris returned from his world travels, he brought back some serious inspiration (along with a sweet tan) to help the band create their unique sound.

The Ruckus are supported by Mick and his merry followers - Chopperhead. These boys entertain you with their musicianship and banter. You never know what Mick is going to say next! A classic rock and metal band that always deliver! A bit of Black Sabbath, AC/DC and who knows what else!
