Eleanor Wilkie is an accomplished bassist and experienced educator. Known for her rock-steady playing and powerful technique, Eleanor has performed with various lineups, including the IBMA-nominated all-female band, Midnight Skyracer.
In this workshop, Eleanor will guide you through the rudiments of bluegrass bass playing, focusing on achieving a great groove as part of a rhythm section. You will be encouraged to practise excellent technique to produce a great tone and explore some of the possibilities for taking the double bass to the next level.The Vault Arts Centre
