The idea for The Screaming Love Collective came about in a dance tent in the early hours of the morning at Eden Festival 2015 when Bryn Thorburn the drummer with The Mind Sweepers had been playing at the festival and was thinking about a solo project, something very different from the standard band with 4 or 5 members.
The Screaming Love Collective was to be a more fluid set up with collective members working together. At the heart of the Screaming Love Collective is Bryn Thorburn, making loops and samples, with a love of repetition and rhythm at their core, using found sounds and audio clips to create upbeat uplifting dance tracks.
