Live fundraising event in aid of the Riverside Day Centre. Music from DJ Davy Steel. 1st place prize for Karaoke & Best Dancer. Raffle tickets available. Tickets available from the Riverside Day Centre or The Vault Arts Centre.

The Riverside Centre, opened in 1995, has served the older people of Newton Stewart and the surrounding area for nearly 20 years. Open weekdays, the Riverside provides a place for older people to meet and chat with friends in warm, comfortable surroundings whilst enjoying a balanced meal freshly made on the premises. A Meals on Wheels service is also provided for those who can not attend the centre.
A variety of activities and trips are frequently organised by members and staff alike varying from theatre trips to various activities in the centre itself. Their aim is to support the older people in the area and help prevent social isolation.
This event will help raise funds for the Riverside Centre so they can continue provide to our community. Please come along, enjoy a drink and the music all for a good cause!

Please make sure you support local musician, Ben Please's efforts to raise enough money to write, record and release his debut piano album, which is being run through Crowdfunder with support from Creative Scotland.

If you're planning on booking for Astoria for your Christmas party night out this year, please make sure you do so earlier rather than later as tickets are going fast! To help with numbers, there is a choice of two shows this year, Saturday 13th December, or Tuesday 22nd December. Don't delay!
