This Friday 8th December we welcome back the fantastic Waves Blues Band. Hailing from South West Scotland, the band are heavily influenced by blues artists such as Big Mama Thornton, Jimmy Reed and Howlin Wolf. Support is from the equally fabulous Easy Bob Reid and Nathon Jones.
Wave Blues Band
Wave Blues Band pulls you into the electric world of Chicago and Delta blues. Get your mojo working and be spellbound by the soulful driving rhythms that will make you shake your tail feathers. The bands current line-up is;
Brian Thomson: Lead guitar and vocals
Ken Gouge: Bass
Dave Drife: Blues harmonica
Eric Macarthur : Drums and Percussion
Susi Briggs: Vocalist

The Return to Summerisle - Wicker Man celebrations all weekend
This weekend we celebrate The Wicker Man, with a screening of the original 1973 film on Friday 2nd May followed, on Saturday 3rd May, by The Return to Summerisle documentary, both at Newton Stewart Cinema, with and after-premiere party at The Vault Arts Centre. Bar open from 2pm on Fri & Sat.
