Please make sure you support local musician, Ben Please's efforts to raise enough money to write, record and release his debut piano album, which is being run through Crowdfunder with support from Creative Scotland.

Ben Please is an acomplished composer who is involved with the amazing The Bookshop Band but also worked with Wandering Mole, Chris Cundy when providing the soundtrack to animation film, Robin Robin.

The Vault Arts Centre featured in national Independent Venue Week initiative
Running from 26th Jan to 1st Feb 2026, Independent Venue Week is the UK's annual 7 day celebration of independent music & arts venues and the people that own, run and work in them, and The Vault Arts Centre, Newton Stewart, will be hosting two exciting live shows as part of this event.

Following a cancellation this weekend, we've brought forward the Bluegrass Night, originally scheduled for Friday 2nd January, to this coming Friday 19th December 2025 from 7pm. Join local and visiting musicians for an evening of bluegrass/Americana/old-time music. Free entry!
